Adobe and TrustPro QTSP team up to ease qualified signatures in Adobe Acrobat Sign.

TrustPro customers are able to sign seamlessly with their qualified electronic signatures in Adobe Acrobat Sign by simply entering their credentials once requested.

Using the Cloud Signature Consortium open standard, TrustPro offers the following signing certificates that work with Adobe Acrobat Sign cloud signatures:

  1. Qualified electronic signatures (QES)
  2. Qualified electronic seals

The use of the qualified electronic signature in Adobe Sign is immediate once a TrustPro product has been purchased.

While the use of the qualified electronic signature in Adobe Acrobat Sign is immediate once a TrustPro product has been purchased, eSeal requires a client_id and a client_secret OAuth 2.0.: Adobe uses these values to generate an access token which is used to make remote signing calls to the TSP. The access token is generated by calling the oauth2/token endpoint with a grant_type of “client_credentials.”

See section 8.3.3 of Architectures and protocols for remote signature applications for details.
